“Poem in your Pocket Day” is Thursday, April 21st. As we have in the past, students will celebrate “Poem in Your Pocket Day” during library class by sharing their favorite poems!
During the week of April 18th, students will be asked to bring their poem to school on the day that they have library class. They may keep their poems in their pockets that day and the rest of the week so they can share with students in other classes.
The students are encouraged to share their poems with classmates, teachers, etc. They may also being extra copies of their poems to add to our “Poet-Tree” display or to tuck into a book in our library for someone to find.
Please make sure students pick a poem that is not too long and one that they will be able to read aloud themselves.
If you have any questions, please email Mrs. Susina at email@example.com.
